We would love to welcome you. Whether this is your first time visiting a Romanian Pentecostal church or you are looking for a church home in Chicago, here is what to expect at Gethsemane.
Sunday service times
- Prayer: 9:00-10:00 AM
- Morning Service: 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
- Evening Service: 6:00-8:00 PM
Services include prayer, worship, Scripture, preaching, and fellowship. Romanian is the primary church language, with visitors and families warmly welcomed.

What to expect
Come as you are
You will see a mix of dress styles, from casual to Sunday best. You are welcome either way.
Families welcome
Children, youth, parents, and grandparents worship together. Ask a greeter or church member if you need help finding the right place.
Stay after service
If you are new, introduce yourself after service. We would love to meet you and answer questions.
During the week
- Monday: Night of Prayer, 7:00-9:00 PM
- Tuesday: Band Lessons/Rehearsal, 7:00-9:00 PM
- Wednesday: Choir Rehearsal, 7:00-9:00 PM
- Thursday: Bible Study, 7:00-9:00 PM
- Friday: Youth Night, 7:00-9:00 PM
